Donate to IJC

IJC relies on the ongoing support of its members and friends. Membership fees meet less than half our annual expenses. It is only with generous donations from both members and friends that we can maintain the professional services of our Rabbi, Hebrew School teachers, and administrator.

Please help us continue to thrive as Belgium’s only progressive English-speaking Jewish community.

Special Appeals

The 5785 High Holidays Special Appeal

We are living in extraordinary times with the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Following on
from October 7, there has been a huge rise in antisemitism in Belgium and around the
world. The IJC provides a safe haven, a meaningful sense of community and belonging in
times like these. But it also needs your ongoing support to remain so.

Our 5785 goal is to raise €20,000 by October 12, 2024.

Our annual dues provide only half of the IJC budget.  For the rest, we depend on donations.
This year’s proceeds will go primarily towards the salary of our fully ordained Rabbi Brian
Doyle and to the rising rental costs of holding services in a fully-secured synagogue.

We will keep you regularly updated on our progress.

A donation from each IJC Household would be much appreciated, and there is no minimum
or maximum amount. We ask that everyone consider a donation according to their means.*

The International Jewish Center account number is: IBAN: BE61 7350 0725 8517

Please mention HH Appeal in your communication.

Thank you very much in advance for whatever you can manage. IJC’s future depends on
your commitment and generosity.

Sincerely,

IJC Board
