Super Shabbat is a special annual event bringing together our whole community, guests and friends to celebrate, share, learn, laugh and pray together.
Super Shabbat 2016 will kick off on Friday 19 February with an expanded program beginning with a Shabbat service for all people who are young and young at heart. We will have an exciting guest speaker followed by a delicious home cooked meal. On Shabbat Saturday 20 February morning we will hold an open, accessible and welcoming learning service followed by a community lunch and a variety of workshops led by members and guest speakers. We complete this wonderful experience with a community havdalah service.
All ages can get involved in this true Jewish learning fest by doing, discussing and participating. Past years' themes have included: Israel & Ecology, Preparing for Pesach, Emigration/Immigration and A Creative and Innovative look at Hebrew for all Ages.
