Hebrew School

The Hebrew school enjoys
a visit to Amsterdam.
Jewish education is offered to children from between the ages of two through Bar and Bat Mitzvah.
The school meets each week for two hours on Sunday mornings. The language of instruction is English. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and welcome atmosphere to nourish our children's sense of Jewish culture and values.
Classes are divided by age and knowledge. They introduce students to Hebrew, prayer, religious traditions, and the modern Jewish experience. There’s an emphasis on creative expression through crafts and song.
The school includes field trips. Past visits have included the Jewish community of Antwerp and the Jewish Museum in Amsterdam. Parents participate and learn together with their children about Tu B'shvat, Shabbat, Havdallah and Passover.
Kitah Aleph: Ages 2-5
The Parent & Tot class introduces young children to the joys of Judaism. Together parents and children learn songs, basic holiday traditions and symbols, Torah stories and Shabbat. The class is interactive, incorporating song, story, arts and crafts, and play. Toys with Jewish themes are available.
